The coconut who went on a Safari
R150.00
The Coconut who went on a Safari, is a childrens’ picture book about a lonely coconut on a beach in Reunion Island, who dreams of going on an adventure and finding his true home. He is the last coconut left on his tree. Suddenly, he falls and is pulled into the ocean by the tides, where the currents make him spin around. He arrives on a beach in South Africa, where he meets a penguin. Thereafter he is kicked from the beach into the bush by a very clumsy giraffe. He is suddenly scared and everything feels very big and overwhelming. He spots a lion behind a bush and the lion tries to eat him, but ends up just breaking his tooth. The coconut then gets pooped on by a massive elephant, who is kind enough to rinse him off by spraying water out of her trunk. She sprays him into a dam of the friendliest crocodiles, who reassures him they will not hurt him. As the animals gather around the dam at sunset, the coconut rests on top of a hill and starts germinating. In the end he is the first coconut tree in the bush overlooking the whole bush and he finally found his place to stay.
